Ginkgo Inks is rooted in the little things that make us who we are, things we find funny, beautiful, strange, sexy, or hard to explain.

My work moves between drawing, painting, and tattoo, but it all comes from a love of character, femininity, ornament, humor, and the slightly absurd. I’m drawn to expressive faces, vintage imagery, decorative details, and ordinary objects all made a little more peculiar.

Not everything I make has one prescribed meaning, my work usually begins with a feeling and is finished simply because I wanted it to exist.

If you find a piece of yourself in it, it can belong to you too.
